RRB Group D Syllabus 2026
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have prescribed the RRB Group D (Level-1) syllabus and exam pattern under CEN 09/2025. All eligible candidates are required to appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
RRB Group D Exam Pattern – CBT
The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at the specified date, time and venue as mentioned in the e-call letter downloaded from the official RRB/RRC websites.

Total: 100 Questions (100 Marks) | Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
*PwBD candidates eligible for scribe: 120 minutes duration.
The section-wise distribution is indicative and may vary in the actual question paper.
Where a second stage CBT is deemed necessary, the Railway Administration may treat the first stage CBT as a qualifying test for shortlisting candidates.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- UR: 40%
- EWS: 40%
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 30%
- SC: 30%
- ST: 30%
The qualifying marks may be relaxed by up to 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage against reserved vacancies.
